BUILDING DESIGN & MODELS (6th-10th)

This course introduces the elementary concepts of architecture, and shows how the use of mathematics can be fun. Through a step-by-step development of a floor plan, students will build a scale model of a building similar to one used by architects. The exercise will utilize basic math and measurement skills required in designing and constructing scale models, and will delve into basic engineering concepts involved in home and building construction.
