1hr class = $20 for 5 weeks / $5 drop-in • 2hr class = $40 for 5 weeks / $10 drop-in

Beginning Spanish » 9am-10am • $20
For young beginners with little or no experience with the language. Children will learn basic introductions, calendar, body parts and counting, colors and shapes. This class uses a combination of teaching styles to keep children focused while learning a language that will open doors for them in the future.

Winter Crafts » 10am-11am • $20
Make Winter-themed crafts and decorations - different activities may include felt bird ornaments, glass magnets, scented soap, candle-making, and more! Make gifts to give this holiday season, or to sell at the Montessori Winter Fair.

Winter Songs » 11am-12pm • $20
Learn songs from different cultures around the world & how they celebrate the coming Winter season. We will perform the songs at the Montessori Winter Fair.

Winter Stories » 1pm-2pm • FREE
We'll read stories together, draw pictures, and learn about the many different ways cultures around the world celebrate the coming Winter season.

Happy Yoga! » 9am-10am • $20 (age flexible with permission of instructor)
Join me as we move our bodies into interesting yoga poses (that feel good!), learn energizing and calming breathing exercises, and experience different elements of yoga in a fun and educational way! Yoga-inspired games, stories, art, and aromatherapy will be incorporated into these classes.

Bisbee Youth Newspaper (the LEAP Observer) » 1pm-2pm • $20
A newspaper journalism class documenting and reporting on LEAP Friday Program activities. Students will be taking photographs, writing stories, conducting interviews, plus learning to layout the pages to create their own newspaper.

Butterfly Fashion Project » 2pm-3pm • $20
Creative costume making for runway show and costume contest. Bring clothes to alter/upcycle for one of a kind costume making. Final designs will be shown at the Butterfly Movement Art and Fashion Event. Winner gets a gift certificate to a local shop!

Creative Dance » 3pm-5pm • $40
Create beautiful improvisational dances as you learn and explore the tools of dance – technique, design, rhythm, flow, and creativity. Students have the chance to create their own choreographed piece(s) which they will perform on the stage on Dec. 13 at Central School Project.
